B.Sc. Nursing College in Sivagangai, near Karaikudi
Vivekananda Global College of Nursing (VGCON) is a B.Sc. Nursing college in Sivagangai district, Tamil Nadu, managed by the Vivekananda Educational Trust (est. 2008). Our campus is at Kummangudi on the Karaikudi – Thiruppathur Main Road (Pillaiyarpatti Road) in Thiruppathur Taluk, within easy reach of Karaikudi, Pillaiyarpatti, Thiruppathur and Devakottai, and welcomes students from Madurai, Pudukkottai and Ramanathapuram districts. We offer a four-year, English-medium B.Sc. Nursing degree with hands-on practice in six dedicated labs – Nursing Foundation, Pre-Clinical Science, Nutrition, Community Health, OBG & Midwifery and Pediatric Nursing – supported by a library of 5,000+ books and structured clinical training. Through community health programmes, medical camps and rural clinical exposure, our students gain practical experience in caring for patients across the region. More than 300 students learn here with a team of 20+ faculty members.
